Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about our courses, scheduling, check-in, and records.
What CPR/AED and First Aid courses do you offer?
Rescue Partners offers two AHA courses: HeartCode BLS, the AHA’s most in-depth Basic Life Support course for healthcare professionals (blended online + in-person skills session), and Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED for the general public and all other professionals — often required for daycare providers and accepted for continuing education credits. Both are instructor-led and hands-on, with 2-year AHA eCards on completion.
What is HeartCode BLS and who is it for?
HeartCode BLS is the American Heart Association’s blended-learning Basic Life Support course for the healthcare industry — nurses, physicians, EMS, dental, and clinical support staff. Students complete the in-depth cognitive portion online at their own pace, then attend a short in-person skills session where an AHA Instructor verifies hands-on competency. It results in a 2-year AHA BLS Provider eCard.
What is Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED and who needs it?
Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED prepares the general public to save a life in an emergency before EMS arrives — CPR, AED use, choking relief, and First Aid essentials, with no medical background needed. It is often required for daycare providers, is widely accepted for continuing education (CE) credits in many professions, and meets typical workplace training requirements. It results in a 2-year AHA Heartsaver eCard.
When are classes scheduled?
Standard class times are Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM Eastern Time. If you need flexible scheduling — evenings, weekends, or shift-friendly sessions — call 978-870-3827 or send a message through the contact form and we will work something out.
Do you train groups at our location?
Yes. On-site group training is our specialty. We bring manikins, AED trainers, and supplies to your workplace, school, church, daycare, gym, or facility — and in-studio classes are also available. Request training and we assign an instructor, create the class roster, and handle student check-in and completion records for you.
How does student check-in work?
On class day the instructor opens the class and shares a QR code or short link. Students scan it on their phone, enter their name, email, and mobile number, agree to the roster consent, and they are instantly added to the roster. The whole check-in takes under a minute and automatically creates the student’s account.
Can instructors export class rosters?
Yes. Instructors and admins can export any class roster to CSV or a printable PDF. Exports include the course type, organization, location, instructor, date/time, total students, and an export timestamp, plus a signature line on the PDF.
Do students get an account?
Yes. When a student checks in with a new email, a student account is created automatically. Students receive a secure sign-in link by email and can view the classes they have attended and their completion status in the student portal. We only collect the minimum information needed for the roster.
How do we book or schedule training?

You can also call 978-870-3827 (Mon–Fri) or email mike@rescue-partners.org. We respond within 24 hours to confirm details and set up your class.
